Hello, I'm Orlie Reid Jr., and I'm here to support you on your journey to mental wellness. With a Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and extensive experience in various therapeutic settings, I bring a wealth of knowledge and compassion to our sessions together. My journey in mental health began at the Progressive Life Center, where I worked as a Family Therapist, gaining invaluable experience with foster care youth. This role quickly led me to become a Program Director, managing youth diversion programs funded by The Department of Juvenile Services. It was during this time that I felt a strong calling to the ministry of counseling, which inspired me to start my own private practice. My career has also included significant roles such as Vice President at Crawford Consulting and Mental Health Services, where I helped build a respected Outpatient Mental Health Clinic, and Executive Clinical Director at Melwood, an agency serving clients with developmental disabilities. In my practice, I specialize in treating ADHD, anger management, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, developmental disabilities, grief and bereavement, intimate and romantic relationships, phobias, PTSD, stress, and trauma. I believe in a client-centered approach, where your unique experiences and needs guide our work together. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where you feel heard and understood. Outside of my professional life, I am deeply committed to my community and the values of empathy and respect.
