Getting to know Othea McAlpine

Hello, I'm Othea, a licensed psychotherapist dedicated to guiding individuals toward the life they deserve to live. Since 2009, I've been passionate about helping people identify and achieve their personal goals. Life happens to the best of us, and it can be very overwhelming. As your therapist and guide, I focus on offering a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental therapeutic environment. You will be treated as an individual, which means your treatment will always be tailored specifically to your needs. I believe in transparency, honesty, accountability, and delivering my best. I take great pride in the progress and success of my clients and look forward to helping you. My services are offered virtually to fit your busy schedule, and your confidentiality is my top priority. My journey began at Alabama A&M University, where I earned a degree in Psychology. Those years ignited my interest in the mysteries of the mind and led me to dive deeper into understanding human interactions. I continued my training at Argosy University-Atlanta, where I obtained a Master's degree, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy. I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, family and intimate relationships, life transitions, multicultural and diversity issues, perinatal support (pregnancy, prenatal, postpartum), and stress. Whether you're dealing with a specific issue or seeking more general support, I'm here to help. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and support you on your journey. Feel free to reach out to learn more about how we can work together to achieve your goals.
