Getting to know Ovais Ahmed

**Please note, the initial booked appointment is a brief phone consultation only, before we schedule the first therapy session.** I specialize in helping individuals who are tired of feeling judged for talking about their mental health and/or feel their anxiety, depression, or trauma is preventing them from living the life they want. I also offer services to those struggling with their Christian faith and are looking to incorporate biblical principles into their sessions. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and a Bachelor’s degree from Montclair State University.

What should a new client know about working with you?

In our sessions together, you will feel seen and heard. We will work together to unpack and develop new tools to help you face life challenges, get unstuck, instill hope, and be the person you want to be.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I use a pragmatic and cognitive behavioral approach which is proven to help change behaviors by replacing unhealthy thoughts with constructive alternatives. I tailor my approach to meet each individual's unique needs.
