Hi there, I'm Pa!
Hello, my name is Pa Tou Vue. I am a professional clinical counselor in Minnesota, working in outpatient therapy for over 10 years. I utilize strength-based therapeutic approaches, including CBT, Interpersonal Therapy, mindfulness practices, and EMDR as appropriate. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, and trauma.

My journey to mental healthcare
I have always been fascinated by mental health and saw the need in my community growing up. It was hard not to be drawn to this field. I believe in my work and am confident in my ability to make a difference. The most rewarding part is seeing clients change, grow, and experience life differently than their norm.

Treatment planning helps clients identify goals for therapy, guiding our work together. I focus on making SMART goals and breaking things down so clients know what to look for to see change happening.

After a Diagnostic Assessment, the first session often includes treatment planning and discussing in detail what brings the client in for services.
I earned my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, providing a strong foundation for my clinical work and commitment to client-centered care.
