I specialize in working with adolescents and adults with ADHD and understand that living with a neurodivergent brain comes with both unique strengths and challenges. My approach is practical, compassionate, and evidence-based, incorporating strategies from CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and acceptance-based therapies. Together, we focus on improving emotional regulation, organization, relationships, self-esteem, and overall well-being while building systems that work with your brain—not against it. I believe therapy should help clients feel understood, empowered, and more confident in navigating daily life. To learn more about my practice and services, visit Twin Cities ADHD.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients often tell me they appreciate having a space where they can be themselves without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. I believe therapy should be collaborative, and we'll work together to identify what is and isn't working in your life while creating realistic strategies that fit your goals. I value authenticity, humor, and flexibility, and I understand that progress is rarely linear—especially for people with ADHD. My hope is that clients leave sessions feeling supported, challenged in helpful ways, and with practical tools they can use in everyday life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first session is an opportunity to get to know each other, discuss what brings you to therapy, and identify the goals that are most important to you. We'll explore your strengths, current challenges, and any patterns that may be getting in the way of the life you want to build. In ongoing sessions, we typically balance processing emotions and experiences with developing practical strategies that can be applied between appointments. For clients with ADHD, this might include working on executive functioning skills, emotional regulation, relationships, self-esteem, or creating systems that support daily life. I believe therapy should be both validating and actionable, so we focus on meaningful progress at a pace that feels manageable and sustainable.
