Psychotherapist

Two things can be true at once—you can feel overwhelmed by life and still move toward healing, clarity, and growth. As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I provide compassionate, individualized support for teens (15+), adults, and couples navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, life transitions, attachment concerns, interpersonal conflict, women’s issues, social skills, and executive functioning challenges. I also have experience supporting clients through pregnancy and postpartum concerns, LGBTQIA+ experiences, coming-of-age transitions, and helping men and fathers develop healthier ways to manage emotions and relationships. My approach is holistic because therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I often use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as a foundation, along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Gestalt, and person-centered approaches. Together, we can explore patterns, regulate emotions, strengthen executive functioning, and develop practical coping skills. Therapy is a space to honor both your hardships and your strengths. We’ll work together to understand your triggers, build effective coping strategies, and create greater balance and confidence in your everyday life. My goal is to help you move through life’s challenges while making room for joy, connection, growth, and a life that feels meaningful and authentically yours.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. My goal is to create a space where you can feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself without judgment. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and we’ll work together to understand what you’re experiencing, identify what is getting in the way, and build practical tools that fit your life. I’ll meet you where you are while also encouraging growth, self-awareness, and meaningful change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We’ll begin by getting to know you, understanding what brings you to therapy, and identifying your goals and priorities. From there, we’ll work together to better understand patterns, triggers, emotions, relationships, and challenges that may be affecting your day-to-day life. Depending on your needs, I may incorporate approaches such as DBT, CBT, ACT, Gestalt, and person-centered therapy. Sessions are collaborative and tailored to you, with a focus on developing practical coping strategies, emotional regulation, executive functioning skills, and greater confidence in navigating life’s challenges.
