I have 20 years of experience in providing psychotherapy and supervision in the Community Mental Health setting. My therapeutic orientation is Person Centered, nondirective, Eastern perspective. I work with adults from ages 18 and up. I am trained in an eclectic approach to counseling, using techniques such as Person Centered, Humanistic, Mindfulness, EMDR, and East-West techniques. I work with thoughts, emotions, body sensation, and the breath. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, LGBTQIA issues, gender exploration, coping with disabilities and chronic illness, cultural adjustment, discrimination, anti-oppression issues, immigrant and refugee issues, aging, and biracial/Mixed Race/Hapa identity issues.
