Pam Lane, LPC

Psychotherapist
TX
Hello, I'm Pam, and I'm here to support you through your mental health journey. With over 25 years of experience, I've had the privilege of working with a diverse range of individuals facing various mental health and behavioral challenges. My extensive background includes counseling adults and special needs populations, helping those with Major Depressive Disorder, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, and many other personality, behavioral, and relationship issues, as well as life transitions. I describe my counseling style as 'Talk Therapy' with an easy-to-talk-to presence. I believe that the way we think and perceive situations can be transformed through rational and reality-based information. However, my approach is eclectic, treating each person as unique with their own life experiences and circumstances. Recently, I have been trained in EMDR Therapy, which is particularly effective for individuals with a history of trauma, abuse, or phobias. I am here to help you navigate the challenges in your life or better understand those around you. Whether you're dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, or any other issue, I can guide you in developing coping skills and strategies to manage your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, helping you reach your goals and manage your everyday world. On a personal note, as a mental health professional, I've likely heard it all and seen most things. I would be honored to work with anyone who feels comfortable sharing their challenges or life transitions with me. While I am not a member of the LGBTQ community, I am a dedicated ally. As a Christian, I respect faith-based perspectives but do not specifically practice 'Faith-Based Counseling.' My specialties include depression, stress, anxiety, trauma and abuse, bipolar disorder, and coping with life transitions.
