5914 Hubbard Dr, Rockville, MD
As a therapist, my goal is to assist clients with their desire to change, heal, and grow. I have experience working with adults facing a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, developmental and attachment trauma, self-esteem, body image, and phase-of-life challenges. I am also interested in supporting individuals with reproductive challenges such as infertility, pregnancy loss, and postpartum issues, as well as new parent adjustment, couples counseling, and severe mental illness. I utilize a client-centered approach that offers multiple therapeutic techniques tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. I believe it is essential to understand and attend to culture and the intersectionality of cultural identities among the clients I serve, including, but not limited to, race/ethnicity, sexual orientation, ability/disability status, and socioeconomic status. In addition to psychotherapy and consultation, I provide comprehensive assessments to gain a better understanding of your cognitive, social, and emotional functioning. I hold a PsyD in Clinical Psychology and a Master's in Psychology from The George Washington University, as well as a Master's in Social Work from Savannah State University.
