Psychotherapist

Hello, I'm Pam! The counseling relationship is a special one. When you find a therapist who is a good fit, you will be amazed at how it can help you grow toward a meaningful and fulfilling life. My hope for you is that you find the therapist that best helps you become who you are meant to be! When you work with me, you can expect to feel connected, accepted, and understood without judgment. I meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you grow and develop the life you are looking for. Life can throw us a lot of curveballs, and it is normal to need help to get through them. I am a practicing licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia, and I am nationally certified as a therapist. I have more than ten years of experience working in schools, private practice, and university instruction. One thing I enjoy almost as much as helping others as a therapist is helping others become great therapists so that as many people as possible can get the help they deserve. Part of our success will come from my work to tailor your therapy experience with therapeutic approaches including person-centered, cognitive behavioral, humanistic, EMDR, and reality therapies. Your life, your story, and your experiences are unique, and my approach to helping you will be as well. I specialize in adolescent and teen mental/behavioral health, depression, family relationships, LGBTQIA+ support, military/veteran support, phobias, PTSD, intimate/romantic relationships, sleep disorders, somatic symptom disorder, stress, trauma, life transitions, anxiety, and gender identity. I look forward to working with you, and I can’t wait to see you move toward loving, honoring, and accepting yourself as you build a meaningful, fulfilling, and satisfying life.
