Getting to know Pamela Donohoe

As a licensed clinical therapist, I have focused my dedicated service upon helping people heal and grow to become the best versions of themselves. Passionately serving clients in Wisconsin and Minnesota since 2016, I am extensively experienced in working with children, adolescents, and adults. Supporting them through life challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, phobias, and crisis stabilization. My focus is on inspiring clients to embrace different life experiences by providing them with the resources and knowledge they need to persevere through any challenges and accomplish their goals.

What should a new client know about working with you?

As a Master ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) practitioner I can provide a unique therapeutic approach that allows clients to process negative images in the mind that cause the symptoms of PTSD and replace them with positive images of the client’s choosing. This process can take as little as one to three sessions. I am also trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Fascia techniques to release trauma held in the body. These specialized therapeutic approaches help clients heal from past experiences and move toward a healthier future. I am especially committed to walking with others on their healing journey, helping them actualize their life’s purpose through compassionate, personalized care. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I am a licensed independent clinical social worker in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My strategy entails establishing a connection with each individual by ensuring they have a safe and open space for them to talk, unburden, and just be themselves. Only by being in touch with their authentic self can the true work begin and the journey of discovery unfolds. Moreover, I believe in empowering people to make changes that support their visions. Outside of my professional life, I find peace and joy in the outdoors. Whether it's hiking, kayaking, or just being in nature, these activities allow me to recharge and stay grounded. I also love to travel, exploring new places, and cultures whenever I can.
