I believe that clients need to feel seen and heard. They need hope that their condition can improve. I believe that it's important to help support clients in developing more self-worth and resiliency. I believe that clients need education about their diagnoses, symptoms and the factors affecting their mental health.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In sessions we identify feelings, thought patterns, family dynamics, support networks or lack thereof, cultural and gender issues, healthy and unhealthy coping skills used. With Christian clients I review and discuss scriptures, the importance of prayer etc. and Christian principles related to their life challenges.
