I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in the Metro-Atlanta Area that has a passion for aiding mothers, families, millennials, and minorities on their wellness journey. As a minority woman, I know the importance of creating and maintaining a safe space for all of my clients. In our first session together, here's what you can expect Our first session allows us to get to know each other in a safe and relaxed space. Therapist will share the process, treatment options, expectations regarding therapy, and outcomes based on client's goals. Therapist will gain insight regarding client's history and challenges. Client will be able to ask additional questions about the process and we will decide on a path forward regarding techniques to achieve goals for therapy. The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions With 10 years of experience working as a mental health counselor, I have worked with clients who are navigating depression, anxiety, relationship issues, PTSD, and trauma. My counseling style is motivational, compassionate, and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I believe people can heal from their pasts and I do not judge anyone. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral therapy, client-centered, trauma-focused therapy using EMDR, and Neurofeedback. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
