Getting to know Pamela Leggett

Hi. I'm Pam, a mental health counselor with a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Florida. I enjoy working with people from a holistic approach, specifically focusing on the mind, body, and spirit connection to effect and attain harmony in one's life. I utilize a combination of techniques such as guided meditations including imagery and visualization, breathwork, and other relaxation methods, coupled with Cognitive-Behavioral Techniques (CBT) that are effective in managing a multitude of issues. I have found these approaches especially helpful for people coping with depression, stress, anxiety, difficulties manifesting a positive self-image, and attaining a balanced life. I have been told I “provide action-oriented and goal-directed services that effect change” and that I have “a way of presenting information that is gentle and compassionate.” I believe we all need gentle compassion at some time in our lives. I enjoy working with people who are vested in self-exploration to see how they can respond differently to challenges in their lives to effect positive outcomes. “The greatest discovery of all time is that a person can change his future by merely changing his attitude.” – Oprah Winfrey “The measure of intelligence is the ability to change.” – Albert Einstein I look forward to working WITH you to effect positive change.

In-network insurances

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

I’m so happy to be working with Pam. I really love how she lets me know she is thinking of me in preparation of our sessions. With her experience and education, I feel understood, heard, and challenged at the same time. I have done nothing but benefit since beginning my work with Pam.
