I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have 40 years experience in counseling. I am also a Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist and a Master Trainer for the Smoking Cessation or Reduction in Pregnancy Treatment program through the Society of Public Health Education. I use CBT and MI techniques and enjoy learning other techniques in order to help others find the best way to live their best life. I feel I am not the 'typical counselor' in that I feel the focus is on the client and my job is to help guide them to alternate choices and look at different perspectives.
