Pamela Phelan, LPC

Psychotherapist
SC
I work with adults who are facing some of life’s most complex and difficult challenges—addiction, disordered eating, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and struggles with emotional intelligence, identity, and codependency. These issues can be isolating, but I’m here to guide you through the healing process in a compassionate and personalized way. We will work toward not just symptom relief, but also a deeper understanding of who you are, what you want out of life, and how you can create a more balanced, fulfilling future. My goal is to empower you to move through life’s difficulties with confidence, resilience, and a renewal. As a therapist, I believe in the power of a holistic approach—integrating the mind, body, and soul for true healing and growth in a space where you feel safe and heard. I am also a Certified Nutrition Counselor, EMDR trained and Registered Yoga Teacher. I offer a free 15-minute consultation to help determine if we are a good fit for each other. Feel free to reach out to schedule a time and take the first step toward the support and healing you deserve.

What should a new client know about working with you?

As a therapist, I believe in the power of a holistic approach —integrating the mind, body, and soul for true healing and growth in a space where you feel safe and heard. My approach is collaborative. I'll respect your pace, but we won't avoid the hard stuff forever. Real change takes effort from both of us. I'll show up prepared and engaged, and I'll ask the same from you. I totally understand the first time in therapy can be uncomfortable and maybe even scary. Our first session together will do an assessment called biopsychosocial, which covers your history your current symptoms and overall health. I am very welcoming, friendly and easy-going in our first session. As I get to know you, you’ll also get to know me a little bit better as well.
