“It was very easy to get matched with my therapist who’s the sole reason I continue to not only recommend therapy but also this specific platform. Everything is super easy and flexible, and no subscriptions is definitely a plus. Sondermind is always helpful as well and listens to your needs when getting matched. When I needed an additional therapist for other issues, I was matched with options that were easy to look into. Thank you.”

Getting to know Pamela Sterling

Hello, I'm Pamela. Are you feeling overwhelmed by COVID-19, or struggling to concentrate and regain control of your life? You are not alone. Life can be challenging to navigate, especially during significant transitions and traumatic events. These experiences can greatly impact our well-being, especially if we lack the proper tools to manage them. It can feel impossible to cope with life stressors and escape the overwhelming feelings of depression, trauma, panic attacks, and anxiety. I'm here to help guide your mental health journey, and together, we can learn how to manage life's challenges. In 2013, I graduated from Texas Southern University with a Doctorate Degree in Counseling Education. As a licensed professional counselor (LPC), I have been working in private practice for 10 years. My primary focus is on clients experiencing depression, eating disorders, anxiety, anger management, and PTSD. Before transitioning to private practice, I worked with students in grades K-12, helping them manage social anxiety through team-building activities. I specialize in working with adults, utilizing cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) techniques to help my clients view their issues from a different perspective. By changing your thoughts, you can feel empowered to make significant changes in your life. I am committed to developing a trusting relationship where you feel heard and understood. Together, we can break down the seemingly insurmountable barriers you face. If you're ready to take the first step towards a healthier, more balanced life, I invite you to reach out. Let's work together to create a path forward.
