Getting to know Paola Martinez

My therapeutic focus is to help women and teens overcome a variety of issues, whether that is life transitions, separations, difficult family dynamics or relationship concerns. My sessions are focused on you and your needs. I am very honest therapist, I value empathy and will provide you with a safe space.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My patients know they are welcomed and accepted through the whole therapeutic process. They often say they feel safe and at the same challenged to grow and understand themselves and others in a deeper way. I value getting to know my clients from day one to now, and view their experiences in the context they were in during that time. I provide a safe space for feelings and emotions, in fact, I welcome that!

What is your typical process for working with clients?

This is very important for clients to know before coming to sessions as we all wonder how typical sessions look like. First, we will start with getting to know you, information about your childhood, your life, and then we will discuss on your goals for therapy. I will listen and take the time to participate on the journey with you. If you are interested in your diagnosis, we can discuss this together and work on specific treatment related to your diagnosis.
