Hi! I'm Patrice Robinson, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master's in Social Work from Avila University. I have served the community for over 10 years and am passionate about supporting individuals on their holistic journey. I focus on using the attachment base to help integrate your Faith through the struggles of life experiences. My approach Everything we do is about our relationships-with ourselves, others, and our environment. I utilize the attachment base to support learning in three areas of life: where I have been, where I am, and where I am trying to get to, all with an integration of Faith. The most common approaches I use include CBT, Positive Psychology, Christian Counseling, ACT, SFBT, MI, Trauma-Focused, Strength-Based, and Mindfulness. My focus My role is to guide you through working with anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD, trauma, life transitions, and relationship issues through a holistic lens to improve your spiritual, emotional, and behavioral well-being. My communication style It is energizing, empowering, and affirming. My journey to mental healthcare As a child, I observed people from all walks of life with different experiences, which led me on this path. I have been fascinated by the brain and human behavior my entire life. What drives me is being a change advocate with a holistic lens. My goals for you I listen as you identify your goals, and together we collaborate to determine a timeline to meet them. My first session with you We will talk, laugh, and maybe even cry, but we will get through the session. We will develop a partnership to build self-awareness for transformation through a holistic lens. Together, we will also plan what our future sessions will look like.
