She also holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Hiram College. In her personal time, Patrice enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, engaging in joyful movement, and utilizing her creative brain.

Patrice strongly believes in using a Rogerian approach, meaning that people should not be judged or criticized for their choices; things happen, and people deserve empathy, patience, and a caring person to listen to them.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Patrice areas of treatment include but are not limited to, Eating Disorders, Anxiety, Depression, childhood behavior disorders, childhood development, ADHD, Suicidal Ideation/Self-harm, PTSD, self-esteem, parent/child relationship, and Body dysmorphia. She has experience working with adults and those as young as 4. Patrice is passionate about working with those who suffer from eating disorders that don’t fit the stereotypical criteria. She truly believes in a Health at Every Size Approach (HAES), advocating for those in various body types. Patrice also loves working with trauma and helping those negative life after a traumatic experience. She is also well versed in utilizing various modalities, including; Solution-Focused treatment, Family-Based Treatment for Eating Disorders (FBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Treatment (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

We strive to make the process as seamless as possible, allowing you to focus on your mental health and well-being. For clients with insurance coverage, we will submit claims directly to your insurance company on your behalf. Once your insurance company processes the claim, you will be responsible for any applicable copayments, deductibles, or coinsurance amounts as outlined in your insurance plan. For clients without insurance coverage or those seeking services not covered by insurance, we offer flexible payment options to accommodate your needs.
