Getting to know Patricia Bevan

Hello, my name is Patricia Bevan. I have always found human behavior interesting. I love getting to know people and listening to their life stories. I find it very rewarding to empower people to achieve their best, support them through their personal challenges, and help ease emotional burdens. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California, which has equipped me with the skills to provide compassionate and effective care.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe in meeting each person where they are and incorporating treatment modalities best suited to that individual's needs and personality. I use evidence-based therapy techniques combined with warmth, compassion, and sometimes a bit of humor to help you meet your goals. Everyone needs an objective person to help support and guide them through life’s challenges and transitions. I believe the most important aspect of therapy is a trusting, nonjudgmental, and compassionate relationship with your therapist; therapy should feel safe and provide you with relief. I also work well with clients who feel comfortable with using humor and limited self-disclosure by the therapist.`

Patricia is by far the most understanding and fair-minded, and guides me to solutions that will help me with my struggles. Patricia listens very carefully and makes suggestions that have improved my life. Kind, compassionate, and healing is what I think sets Patricia apart as a great therapist!
Patricia fully listens and has compassion. Her insight is truly wonderful. She always has helpful, intelligent suggestions. I am grateful to be working with her.
Patricia has been incredibly warm and compassionate. I feel very lucky to have connected with a therapist who is so wise and kind. I feel incredibly comfortable with her and have gained so much insight into my experiences and identity in my sessions with her.
I like Patricia because she is mature, intelligent and easy to relate to. She understands my struggles and offers manageable solutions that make sense to me. She also challenges me to go beyond my comfort level in order to find healing and a voice.
Patricia is a validating listener. She helps guide you to process certain experiences and solutions on your own terms, and seems experienced in keeping sessions productive while still being easy to talk to. She truly seems to care about her patients and their progress in trauma recovery.
I was instantly open to share. She’s a nice lady.
Patricia is very good and right away I felt comfortable and she is very authentic, intelligent, warm, empowering and solution oriented as above ....I just could not mark all the boxes but she is all of the above and I am forever grateful to have met her and be in her care.
Patricia is probably the best therapist I have ever had. When I spoke to her, it was like talking to a friend. She used creative techniques and asked me good questions to get to the depth of what was troubling me. She has a great sense of humor and I was always comfortable opening up to her. She gave me the confidence to move forward.
I like that Patricia is personable, sometimes giving examples of her life. I feel I am talking to a friend, to an extension of and smarter part of myself. She is inteligent and knowledgeable and always gives me insight on what is going on, what is causing me to have certain behaviors. She continuously helps me in this difficult period I am going through.
