What should a new client know about working with you?

Great to meet you! Hello, I am so happy that you are reading this profile. I am here to listen to you and to help you define where you would like to be and the first steps on that journey. I have had the privilege of wonderful professional training and lots of life experience. I am ready to start this journey with you today. A bit about my approach to therapy I like to take a collaborative approach and see myself as more of a coach and partner to help you reach your goals. I enjoy explaining how difficult and overwhelming things impact our body/brain and functioning. I specialize in working with those who have had traumatic experiences, but also am experienced in helping people learn to manage anxiety, depression, etc. I am a rostered Trauma Focused therapist. What you can expect from our first session I work to create a warm, welcoming, and understanding environment. My goals is for you to leave feeling calmer and with a sense of purpose and empowerment.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Typical sessions will consist of my learning about events that have happened since the last session, how you handled the events and the impact to you/others. We will explore strengths and areas of growth and the skills to meet your desired goals.

Payment is collected on a fee-for-service basis, meaning your insurance will be billed following each session. If you are self-pay you will be required to provide a credit card to be kept on file and you will be billed after each session. There is a late cancel/no show fee that will be charged if you fail to attend of cancel appointment within 48 hours.
