Getting to know Patricia Castillo

As your counselor, my focus is on helping you discover what truly matters to you and supporting you in creating a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling. I believe that every person already carries strengths and wisdom within them, and my role is to help you recognize and build on those. In our sessions, I draw from positive psychology and strength-based approaches, encouraging you to connect with your values, inner guidance, and resilience. I also weave in mindfulness and spiritual practices when they feel right for you, with the goal of fostering balance, perseverance, and a deeper sense of wellbeing. I hold master’s degrees in both Education and Mental Health Counseling from Columbia University. Along with my academic training, I am a certified Reiki Master and have completed mindfulness and stress reduction trainings, which allow me to support both the mind and spirit. Most importantly, I strive to create a safe, compassionate space where you can feel heard, supported, and encouraged on your journey of growth and healing.
