My professional life began with an interest in child development and family relations which led to my work as a counselor in a K-5 Elementary School. I transitioned to working with adults – College and Graduate level students and Adults in Mid-life around Relationship Issues, Body Image and Concerns about Self-Worth and Life Transitions. I'll listen to what your concerns are and we can determine, together, if I can help you to become more comfortable with whatever is currently going on in your life and causing you pain. What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients have described me as providing a Safe, Non-Judgmental, and Comfortable Environment where they feel heard. They find me to be Insightful, Knowledgeable, Caring and a Good Listener. My interest in adult development has helped me to gain a deep understanding of Aging and the complications of Grief and Loss - of friends, family members, and pieces of oneself as we age.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

It is important for me to be genuine in a counseling relationship and to affirm that change is worth the risk and the effort that you put into it. I’m interested in people. I’m interested in their stories. I’d be interested in learning about your story and helping you through whatever life situation you’re struggling with at the moment.
