Psychotherapist
KY
Morning and daytime telehealth appointments now open. I'm Patricia Fearing, a Registered Play Therapist and EMDR-trained trauma therapist offering online therapy for children, teens, and adults in North Carolina, Kentucky, Georgia, and Ohio. If your evenings are already full, or your child is homeschooled, in virtual school, or not yet in school, a morning session may be the easiest way to finally get started. I help kids and adults heal from trauma, anxiety, grief, and big emotions that make daily life hard. For children (ages 5+), I use virtual play therapy and sandtray, so your child can work through hard experiences in the language that comes most naturally to them. For teens and adults, I use EMDR and trauma-informed talk therapy. I also bring play-based approaches to adults healing from childhood trauma, including religious trauma. I'm certified to assess, diagnose, and treat ADHD, and I'm LGBTQ+ affirming. Morning sessions work well for parents whose kids are at school, remote and hybrid workers, nurses and shift workers, college students, and anyone who would rather start the day by taking care of themselves. All sessions are online, from home. I accept many forms of insurance and I offer reduced self-pay rates. Book a free 15-minute consultation to see if we're a good fit.
