Getting to know Patricia Lott
Hello, I'm Trisha, a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner with over seven years of experience working with individuals from all walks of life. My journey has taken me from a hospital in rural Nebraska to an agency in North Omaha, where I served clients with major mental health issues. I've had the privilege of working in various settings, each enriching my understanding and approach to therapy.
I have a deep passion for helping individuals with developmental disabilities and senior populations. My areas of expertise include treating depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, trauma, addictions, life transitions, and managing personality disorders. I work closely with the Department of Health and Human Services to provide comprehensive services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in collaboration and treating the whole person. I believe in developing a team approach where we work together to achieve your goals. Some of the therapeutic methods I use include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and motivational interviewing. These approaches allow me to tailor our sessions to your unique needs and help you navigate through life's challenges.
Outside of my professional life, I cherish spending time with my dog, Lilly, and exploring new places through travel. These personal moments keep me grounded and remind me of the importance of balance and self-care.
