What should a new client know about working with you?

Welcome! Finding a therapist can be a challenge. I recognize this challenge and want to honor you, as you determine who might be a good therapist for yourself. My practice is devoted to helping folks navigate life-whatever that may mean for you. I bring my years of experience to create a safe space for this work, to establish a trusting relationship with you, and to provide skills and resources for your personal growth.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Therapy sessions always begin with a check in - to see how a client is doing - at that time. At times, it's an important opportunity to deal with an immediate crisis - that becomes the focus of that meeting: providing support, problem solving and crisis management. Most sessions are centered around the goals that a person has for therapy, noting strengths, gains made and addressing concerns.
