What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe therapy should be a space where you feel accepted, supported, and empowered to explore whatever challenges or goals bring you to treatment. My approach is collaborative, affirming, and tailored to your individual needs. Whether you are working through trauma, relationship concerns, identity exploration, anxiety, depression, life transitions, or personal growth, I strive to create an environment where you can be your authentic self without fear of judgment. As an openly LGBTQ+ therapist, I value inclusivity and work with clients from diverse backgrounds and experiences. Together, we will identify your goals, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools and insights that support meaningful and lasting change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first few sessions focus on getting to know you, understanding your history, and identifying the goals that bring you to therapy. I believe every client has unique needs, so I take time to understand your experiences, strengths, relationships, and the challenges you would like to address. From there, we work collaboratively to create a treatment plan that aligns with your goals. Depending on your needs, I may incorporate approaches such as EMDR for trauma processing, CBT and DBT for developing coping skills and emotional regulation, IFS-informed parts work for increasing self-awareness and healing internal conflicts, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy when clinically appropriate, and traditional talk therapy to process experiences and foster growth. Throughout our work together, I provide a supportive and affirming space while helping you develop insight, build resilience, and create meaningful changes that improve your overall quality of life.
