Psychotherapist
TX
Hi, I'm Andy. I've lived in the Austin area for over 20 years, originally moving here in my early 20s to attend the University of Texas. Though I initially stayed for just one semester, drawn to the vibrant nightlife and music scene, my journey eventually led me back to academia and a fulfilling career in therapy. After facing my own struggles with depression, anger, and addiction, I found healing through therapy, which inspired me to help others do the same. I graduated from UT with a B.A. in Psychology and Philosophy and later earned my M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Texas A&M University-Central Texas. I'm a Licensed Addiction Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor, specializing in addiction, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, antisocial behavior, family relationships, narcissistic personality disorder, perinatal support, phobias, PTSD, stress, suicidal ideation, trauma, intimate/romantic relationships, and children's mental/behavioral health. My greatest joy comes from watching clients step into the uneasiness, pull what is valuable out of the muck, and learn to discard the garbage to move forward with their lives. Each one of you is unique, and my clients are my greatest teachers. I believe that all of one's pains can be transformed and one's experiences can become one's greatest assets. If you're ready to embark on this journey of transformation, I'm here to guide you. Let's work together to find your path to personal freedom and fulfillment.
