As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), I am here to support you on your journey to wellness. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and my role is to guide you in the right direction, helping you achieve the change you seek. If you're ready to put in the effort, I truly believe you can get better, and I'm here to help you every step of the way. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working in a wide variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient facilities, telehealth, prisons, jails, psychiatric hospitals, Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) facilities, community Mental Health and Mental Retardation (MHMR) centers, and community counseling centers. My extensive experience has equipped me to handle virtually every situation in the counseling field. I specialize in addressing issues such as addiction, trauma, major depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, anxiety, stress, marital problems, anger Maleagement, and LGBTQIA+ support. My certifications as a Certified Addiction Specialist and my background in criminal justice further enhance my ability to provide comprehensive care. I have worked with clients of all ages, faiths, orientations, and ethnicities, including those for whom English is a second language, across over 50 countries and nearly every US state and territory. I take great pride in my diagnostic accuracy, with not a single diagnosis overturned based on DSM-5 criteria. I believe that clients get out of treatment what they put into it. When a client is committed to getting better, my job is to point them in the right direction and provide the support they need. Every client has the potential to improve if they are willing to put in the effort.
