Paul Zasada, LMHC, MA, LCPC

Psychotherapist
111 Cedar Street, Suite 5, Sandpoint, ID
I offer psychotherapy in a safe and collaborative environment where you can explore the challenges of everyday living. Through a process of assisted self-discovery, we create the conditions for healing to occur. My approach is holistic and experiential. I specialize in relationship struggles, mood difficulties, and life transitions. My therapy is individualized to meet the unique needs of each client. In session, I create the opportunity for limiting habitual behavioral patterns and core beliefs to safely surface to conscious awareness so that they can be explored and, where appropriate, transformed. In a therapeutic context, the body's structures and habitual patterns become a powerful doorway to unconscious core material, including the hidden core beliefs that shape our lives, relationships, and self-images. Gaining awareness of these patterns and structures can help build a more satisfying and effective life. I hold a Master's degree in Holistic Counseling and a Certificate in Mental Health from Salve Regina University, which inform my integrative and client-centered approach to therapy.

Ongoing session: $130 for 50 minutes
  • Sliding scale: Offers lower out-of-pocket fees on an individual basis, typically based on your ability to pay

More information on payments and coverage

My practice currently only accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance. However many clients choose not to use their insurance and pay directly, seeking reimbursement from their insurance companies if they so choose. For clients who do not have BCBS, it is strongly encouraged they access their out of network insurance benefits. Many clients receive reimbursements, especially if they have met their deductable. Most insurance panels support clients seeking experts. Integral Psychotherapy can provide you with a billing slip for each appointment that can then be submitted for reimbursement from your insurance company. My out-of-pocket fee per session is $130. Most insurance plans will reimburse you for my services. If you plan to use insurance, please check your coverage carefully by asking your plan’s representative the following questions: * Do I have mental health benefits? * How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover? * What is the coverage amount per therapy session? * How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network provider? * Is prior authorization required from my primary care physician?
