Getting to know Paulette Chobot
My name is Paulette Chobot.
I believe it is an honor to be part of a person's life, especially when they are facing challenges. My philosophy is that everyone has the information within themselves to heal, and it is my responsibility to help them access the solutions inside.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania with a Master's in Counseling from Villanova University. I have thirty years of experience in the behavioral health field, specializing in individual, group, and family therapy.
My approach to therapy is rooted in the humanistic experience. Each person has their own life story and the right to live life in their own way. My goal is to gently assist you in moving through emotional discomfort toward healing and change. Together, we will navigate the challenges or obstacles that may stand in your way. I will be fully present as we take each step with purpose and intent toward healing.
My therapeutic experience is diverse. Over the years, I have had the opportunity and pleasure to work with many different populations. For 30 years, I have worked with children and teens with emotional and behavioral disturbances, autism, and mental illnesses. For 25 years, I have supported adults overcoming drug and alcohol addiction, victims of domestic violence, and adults with diagnosed mental illness. Additionally, I have performed executive and professional coaching for 10 years.
I look forward to working with you to navigate whatever difficulties you are facing at this time.
What should a new client know about working with you?
During the initial session, we will discuss what is bringing you to therapy while get to know each other to see if we are a good fit for each other.
In our follow up sessions, we will explore the root of your feelings. We will connect information we gather through sessions to make a roadmap that assists with your healing.
You will leave each session with suggested techniques to work on until the next session. My hope is that you take away new knowledge and understanding about yourself and your circumstances. My goal is that you take away techniques to help you navigate your circumstances while healing and growing.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
