So to clarify, the doctor on the profile may not be who you are paired with— but I was very specific of the kind of counselor I was looking for and the office called me the same day of booking to confirm a counselor with me that met my criteria. She was prompt to our intake session and seemed really kind, aware and capable. I was surprised to find someone who seems to get it on the first try, as that doesn’t always happen with therapy. Excited to see how things go from this point on!
