I am ecstatic you took the time to visit Pinnacle of Purpose, PLLC. My name is Pearl Bryant, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Approved Supervisor. I am the Founder of Pinnacle of Purpose Counseling, PLLC. I opened the doors of Pinnacle of Purpose in April 2018 with a burning desire to assist women of color in becoming the best version of themselves. Both professionally and personally, I understand the journey to self-acceptance is uncomfortable. However, I know it is attainable. This is why I stay excited about the road to healing, growth and self-acceptance.
Throughout my 14+ years of experience in the field of social work I have worked closely with at-risk youth, young expecting African American mothers and their families, and children experiencing crisis and trauma. I was given the opportunity to sit with clients in their discomfort, observe disconnection and through those experiences I have come to appreciate the power of resiliency. I received my bachelors degree at Texas Southern University in 2007 and Masters in Social Work from the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work in 2009. Throughout my 14+ years as a social worker I have worked at a Level 1 Trauma Hospital, residential treatment facilities, after school programs in low socio-economic communities, the non profit sector and psychiatric facilities in and around Harris County. My experience includes working with trauma, crisis, grief and loss, death and dying, psychiatric issues, character education, and adolescent issues including sexual orientation and identity. As a therapist, I have a warm yet real approach that will help you muddle through your uncertainty as you heal and discover your power and purpose.
