“Initially, I chose Peggy as a provider due to her experience with some of the issues I needed help with. I also considered our age difference, meaning I would be more comfortable speaking to someone who might seem more like an older sibling, who is more relatable . Peggy is thoughtful and not presumptuous in her effort to understand me. She is flexible and careful. She is always close, if not right on target with her inquiries. I highly recommend Peggy, she is authentic.”

Getting to know Peggy Yoder

Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Texas with 5 years of experience. I help individuals, couples, and families learn to love and relate to one another in a healthier and more secure way, grounded in a deeper understanding of each other's experiences and the application of new skills. My clients come to me when they've been experiencing relational distress and are unable to improve it on their own. You might consider working with me if you've tolerated your situation for years and the thought of continuing feels so painful that you're on the brink of ending or cutting off the relationship unless things change. Before entering private practice, I provided trauma-informed care at nonprofit organizations, supporting unhoused individuals in recovering from substance abuse and learning life transformation skills. I also supervised court-ordered visitation between children and their non-custodial parents. I hold a Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Texas State University.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
