Hi there, I'm Penny! Hello, my name is Penny Collins. I am licensed in Arizona and Wisconsin with 40 years of professional work experience. I have experience helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, trauma and abuse, and depression. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process. My approach I am very client-centered and solution-focused in my therapeutic approach with clients in session. I try to help clients look for solutions to issues that are impacting their lives. I meet individuals where they are in their journey and join with them to find ways to live a happier, more fulfilled life. My focus I work with a variety of clients across the lifespan and age groups. I enjoy working with individuals who are seeking life changes to move in a more positive direction. My communication style I am a very straightforward, transparent therapist. I will be honest with clients and help to point out areas they may want to address in their self-discovery and growth. My journey to mental healthcare I started my career journey as a Federal Law Enforcement Officer, where I saw mental health issues up close and personal. I knew that I wanted to help people who were struggling with mental health issues rather than arrest them. I received my Master's degree in Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. I have worked with military families, school children, teens, adults, couples, and anyone with issues and the desire to grow and live a happier, fuller life. My goals for you I am collaborative in my treatment planning with clients and look for ways in which I can work with you to support the therapy goals you would like to address in sessions.
