My name is Penny Nevins. I am a Licensed Mental Health Provider with over 20 years of experience. I have been blessed to serve individuals ages 4 to 100. I have worked in an array of settings. I would be honored to serve you on your journey to reach your counseling goals. I truly believe that reaching out for support during a difficult time in your journey is the biggest step you take to reclaim your best self. In our first session together, here's what you can expect During our first session I will provide a welcoming, genuine, empathetic, and compassionate space. We will discuss the process of counseling and identify your goals of treatment. The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions Having over 20 years of experience, my compassion for others is my greatest strength. I believe that being authentic and empathetic has helped me guide many clients as they reach their goals. The clients I'm best positioned to serve I am versed in many client experiences and diagnoses. I love to help a client reach their goals of treatment by unleashing their personal strengths. I believe client's seek help when they are ready to initiate change. I am here to provide support and accountability on the journey. Below are a few of the populations and presenting issues I've enjoyed supporting on life's journey. I enjoy working with adults who are seeking support to make necessary changes to find there most authentic self. I enjoy working with children through creative therapy techniques focused on clients' own strengths. I enjoy working with mature adults and providing a supportive ear to listen mature during life transitions. I enjoy helping adolescents reach their goals and overcome the teenage "funk". I'd love to work with individuals dealing with compassion fatigue, caregiver stress, grief/loss, and situations that may lead to feeling inadequate of unappreciated.
