Getting to know Pertrina Works

Hello, My name is Pertrina and I am the owner of as well as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at the Works Resiliency Wellness Center. I would like to take the time to introduce myself to you. I have my Masters in Social Work from Syracuse University. My experience ranges from working with individuals diagnosed with Depression, Anxiety, Stress Management and Relationship Conflicts. I am a lifelong learner and believe that staying up to date with different Evidenced Based Treatment models to ensure you are receiving the best.

What should a new client know about working with you?

We will discuss the different items you would like to work on and together work towards your different goals. I utilize different evidence-based models but focus on more of an eclectic approach that is tailored to each individual person. An individual plan will be created solely for you. I also am able to provide Supervision in New York State to help future Mental Health Professional obtain their goals of making a difference and helping various populations. Our main goal at the Works Resiliency Wellness Center is to help pave the way and to be the future of mental health services.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I am a calm and open person. I am here for you to have a non-judgmental place to express yourself. I want you to always feel respected and to also be able to honestly express your emotions. I am a true believer that therapy is all about you and I am here to assist you and provide support as needed.
