Hey, my name is Phil Caruso. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor that’s been in the field of psychotherapy for over 15 years. My journey helping others has brought me to a variety of settings that include partial programs, emergency rooms, and the homes of the clients I’ve served. My training experience is heavily rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and I project this through the lens of Humanistic Counseling. This means that I’ll help you identify negative thought patterns and better tolerate distress, all while ensuring I’m being genuine, supportive and never judgemental. Throughout our days - regardless of our responsibilities - we take time out to meet the needs of others.
