My approach I use a variety of approaches that are chosen based on the client's needs. I most often use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to provide tools to reshape your unhelpful thoughts. Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT) may also be used to focus on learning and practicing specific skills to help you with emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness. I will often use solution-focused therapy for a brief time to help with creating solutions to current and past problems. We will work together to determine the approach that will fit your needs. My focus Have you been struggling with anxiety, depression, self-harm, or negative thoughts? I work with individuals from children to older adults to help manage these areas. I will assist you in working through trauma, ADHD, relationship issues, LGBTQ support, grief, using coping skills, and even reaching your personal goals. We will work together to create a plan for positive growth and show you that it is achievable while empowering you to get to those goals. My communication style I will ensure that you can have open communication that is supportive and non-judgmental. I practice active listening while having a patient and empathetic approach. You can always expect me to be engaged, calm, and to prioritize clear and open communication.
