Hi, I'm Piper. Have you ever felt stuck because of anxiety, weighed down by feeling sad and unmotivated, or frustrated with unhealthy relationships? Do you ever feel like you are not in control of your thoughts and emotions? Life can feel challenging to manage at times, especially when we are facing transitions, mental health issues, conflict with our friends and family, and all the other stuff that has come with these past couple of years in isolation. I know that all these feelings can be overwhelming and hard to overcome, and I am here to help guide you on your individual journey to meet your mental health, relationship, and personal goals. I am ready to help you clearly identify all the things that are contributing to your struggles and create different ways to think about and cope with those things that are bothering you most. A little more about me: In 2013, I graduated from the University of Southern California with my Master's in Social Work and subsequently became trained and licensed as an LCSW. I have been working in various fields over the past 9 years, including offering therapy in private practice, community non-profits, and hospital settings. Because of my diverse background, I offer an integrated treatment approach that is tailored to meet you where you are in achieving your individual therapy goals. I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and interpersonal therapy, and am passionate about working with teenagers and adults who need help managing past traumas, self-esteem, mood dysregulation, and challenging relationships. I love this work because I have the privilege of getting to know people, like you, from all walks of life. I enjoy being a witness to your life, your struggles and successes, and helping guide you to overcome your most challenging moments. I love seeing that regardless of where we come from, we all have our own troubles and ultimately want to grow and move forward with life. So, if you feel ready to move forward with therapy and are interested in working together, please reach out to me, and we can schedule a time to talk more about what is happening with you and get started.
