Psychotherapist
CA
Welcome—I’m glad you’re here, whether you’re starting therapy or continuing your work. If you look like you have it together on the outside but feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck on the inside, you’re not alone. Many of my clients are high-achieving, thoughtful people who are used to pushing through—often feeling burnt out, overfunctioning, people-pleasing, or unable to truly relax or be present in their lives. I help individuals, couples, and families slow down and make sense of what’s underneath the stress so you can feel more like yourself again. Together, we’ll explore patterns shaped by your relationships, culture, and life experiences while building skills in communication, emotional regulation, and mindfulness. My approach is collaborative, non-judgmental, and culturally responsive. I focus on helping you reconnect with your internal compass, align with your values, and move toward a life that feels more grounded, intentional, and fulfilling—not just productive. I am in-network with select insurance plans for individual therapy. Couples and family therapy are private pay. Superbills are available for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Many of the clients I work with are overfunctioning busy professionals—meeting expectations, achieving, staying responsible—but internally feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unable to fully relax into their lives. You may notice patterns like anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or difficulty feeling present, connected, or fulfilled—even when things “look good” on paper. Our work goes beyond short-term coping. Together, we begin to understand the deeper patterns shaping your internal experience, relationships, and sense of self so that change feels meaningful, not just temporary. This is a space for thoughtful, intentional work for those who are ready to move out of autopilot and into a more grounded, connected way of living.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We begin by slowing things down and getting a clear understanding of what’s happening beneath the surface—not just symptoms, but triggers, patterns, reactive responses, and relational dynamics. Sessions are collaborative and tailored to you. Depending on your needs, we may explore: current stressors and internal experiences long-standing patterns (e.g., overfunctioning, self-criticism, difficulty setting boundaries) relationship dynamics (individual or couples work) ways to build emotional awareness, regulation, and connection Rather than rushing toward solutions, we focus on creating insight and shifts that allow for more sustainable change. Over time, clients often find they are less reactive, more intentional, and better able to connect—with themselves and others.
