I hold a Doctorate Degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from Governors State University and am a licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). I am a certified Integrative Mental Health Professional and a certified Mental Health and Nutritional Clinical Specialist. In addition, I am certified in neuropsychotherapy and Trauma Therapy. I have extensive professional experience using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) with children and adults addressing concerns including relationships, anxiety, depression, trauma, autism, intellectual disabilities, ADHD, and parent coaching. I have worked in residential settings, hospitals, private practice, and in-house counseling. I have facilitated group and individual supervision, parenting education, couples therapy, groups, family therapy, and substance use therapy. I work with culturally diverse clients using neuroscience, nourishment, music, art, role-play, and play therapy. My integrated style of counseling allows me to provide individualized treatment that accommodates each client's learning style and perceptions as they progress through their process at their own pace. I truly believe that everything in life that happens is there for a purpose and should not be seen as a mistake, but as an experience that brings wisdom, strength, and growth as an individual.
