Pritha Ray-Costello is a pre-licensed provider working under the supervision of a licensed practitioner.
If you are struggling with intersectional parts of identity, relationships, trauma or lack of community and belonging, know that you are not alone. It is my honor and my privilege to bear witness to your pain, truth and story. I specialize in compassionate, peaceful and nonjudgmental care/support to anyone who has ever felt marginalized or othered and is seeking personal growth and healing. My practice embraces the unique experiences of the individual and I hope to offer a safe space for exploration and empowerment. My approach is deeply rooted in understanding and honoring the holistic journey from the beginning to the present.
As an (anxious) queer immigrant Indian American woman, I strive to be the acceptance I wish I had as a child. I center authenticity and intentionality in a relationally focused practice rooted in parts of my client’s lived experience. I attempt to incorporate your past to navigate the waves and waters of your present to create a brighter future for yourself.

What should a new client know about working with you?
Prior to making an intentional pivot to counseling, I worked in range of roles in corporate sales, recruiting, and HR.
I worked as Head of Talent Acquisition for a small start up in 2020 and I offer professional and personal insights on stress, burnout, career counseling and corporate communication.
I focus on person-centered, culturally aware, compassionate and relational work with clients who may be struggling with trauma, relationships, parts of self and/or authentic self expression.
I have a specialization in trauma studies and a background in corporate communication. I also have personal and lived experience with professional burnout and comfort working through symptoms and challenges of Bipolar Disorder.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I believe that you are the expert about your identity, your needs and your health. I fuse your knowledge and history with psychoeducation to arrive at new insights. I practice holistic compassion and I draw heavily from influences of IFS, ACT, expressive and energy therapy. I love music, film and pop culture references for visuals and for offering metaphors for challenging topics of discussion.
