Psychotherapist
IL
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Elevated Behavior Counseling. I help individuals navigate anxiety, trauma, and life transitions through therapy that blends compassion, structure, and real-life strategies. My goal is to help you feel grounded, confident, and at peace with where you are and where you’re headed. My approach My approach is collaborative and supportive, blending CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care. I focus on helping clients recognize patterns, strengthen coping skills, and practice self-compassion. Sessions are a balance of reflection and action, where growth meets grace. My focus I specialize in working with adults managing anxiety, stress, or emotional exhaustion, especially those balancing multiple roles like parenting, caregiving, or professional life. My clients often feel “put together” on the outside but overwhelmed on the inside. I provide a safe space to reset, refocus, and heal. My communication style I’m warm, transparent, and encouraging. I listen deeply, ask meaningful questions, and provide honest feedback in a supportive way. You can expect sessions that feel comfortable, compassionate, and focused on helping you make steady progress. My journey to mental healthcare My journey into mental health began when I was 13 years old and learned that my grandmother was living with schizophrenia. Until that moment, I had no idea — she worked, cared for her family, and carried herself with strength and grace. After learning about her diagnosis, I became deeply curious and compassionate. I wanted to understand her world and see life through her eyes. That experience opened my heart to the realities of mental health and taught me the power of empathy. Even as a child, my mother would tell me that I was meant to help people. I volunteered at nursing homes, supported my peers, and was often the friend others turned to for guidance.
