Getting to know Quinteisha Hundley

I am a licensed professional counselor with a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Louisiana Monroe. I enjoy working out, juicing, reading, and spending time with loved ones outside of work. I spend 50 minutes per session, including the intake. I mostly assign practical, real-time assessments during sessions, and I ask that clients journal heavily outside of session. I know the unfinished, rough, "not put together" parts of me deserve respect, and I want to be part of moving that forward for other people. I have worked in private practice, at an in-home agency, and in a university counseling setting, and I participated in an internship within the rehabilitative geriatric population. These experiences have shaped my practice by teaching me to value professional and mentoring connections, helping me identify the parts of my experiences I will replicate in my own practice (related to forming groups and programs, etc.), and helping me find my niche.
