Here is a little about me and how I plan to support you: I have a master’s degree in Counseling from Houston Baptist University (2018) and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. Since I was young, I have had the drive to help and improve my skills to help others. Counseling has been my tool to fulfill this goal. I have worked with children, teens, adults, couples, individuals, and families in multiple settings. I have five years of experience in inpatient hospitalization, private practice, and non-profit settings. I have worked with individuals in crisis, trauma, abuse, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, childhood disorders, autism, anger, domestic violence, addiction, transgender issues, LGBTQ issues, parent-child relationships, communication problems, grief and loss, and personality disorders. My therapeutic style involves helping you to arrive at insight, strategies, and tools that you can begin using immediately to make a positive change in your life. I want to be able to create a safe place for you where you do not feel judged. I want you to be able to share your concerns and thoughts openly and freely with me. I love providing you with concrete tools whenever possible and helping you to have a plan for the following days before our next session if that is the pace you would like to move at.
