Psychotherapist
GA
Hello, I am a licensed therapist who is passionate about helping you navigate life's challenges and transitions. With an MA and certifications as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have extensive experience working with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationships, OCD, ADHD, and trauma. Whether you're dealing with stress, grief, or life transitions, I'm here to support you every step of the way. My approach to therapy is warm and interactive. I genuinely enjoy working with others and believe that you are the expert in your own life. My role is to assist you in discovering and uncovering your true self to address your wants and needs. I use techniques that help identify problematic thoughts, reframe beliefs about oneself, explore values and strengths, and find acceptance of what we can and cannot control within our lives. Although I crave a little structure, you will find that I consider myself to be informal and relatable. I believe the relationship between therapist and client should be professional but feel inviting and comfortable. On a personal level, I have been married 11 years and have two children (ages 13 and 7) as well as two older step-daughters. I know what it is like to juggle full time work and raise a family. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. From a strengths-based approach, I tailor treatment to each individual, ensuring that our work together is aligned with your unique experiences and goals. My aim is to help you live life to its fullest potential, finding joy and fulfillment along the way. If you're ready to take the next step toward a healthier, more balanced life, I'm here to help. Let's work together to create positive change and achieve your personal goals.
