What is your typical process for working with clients?

In my therapeutic approach, creating a safe and judgment-free space is paramount. I believe in ensuring that my clients feel heard and comfortable expressing themselves. Striving to embody empathy, competency, and understanding, I adopt a collaborative approach to treatment, meeting clients "where they are at" to tailor interventions uniquely to their situation. While I am most comfortable with intervention styles such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and person-centered treatment, I am enthusiastic about exploring additional theories and interventions beneficial to clients, including EMDR and RPT. My treatment scope encompasses mental health challenges, LGBTQIA+ issues, relationship maintenance, and more.
