GA
Hello, I'm Rachel, and I have a passion for helping people grow and find their capacity to change, even in the most difficult of circumstances. With a background as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and an MSW degree, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our sessions. My training includes EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) specific to chronic pain and depression, as well as DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) skills. These diverse approaches allow me to tailor our work together to best meet your unique needs and goals. I specialize in working with adolescents and teens, addressing mental and behavioral health issues such as ADHD, depression, anger management, anxiety, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. Additionally, I have a strong commitment to supporting military personnel and veterans, understanding the unique challenges they face. Whether you're dealing with the complexities of mental health or seeking strategies for managing life's stressors, I'm here to help. In our sessions, you can expect a compassionate and non-judgmental space where we can explore your thoughts and feelings. My goal is to empower you with the tools and insights needed to navigate life's challenges and achieve personal growth. I believe in the resilience of the human spirit and am dedicated to helping you uncover your strengths and potential. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my family and engaging in hobbies such as art, gardening, and playing with our rescue fur-babies. These activities bring me joy and balance, which I believe is essential for overall well-being. If you're ready to take the next step in your journey, I invite you to reach out. Let's work together to create positive change and build a brighter future.
